I would recommend that you clean the connections to your MAF-mass air flow sensor, and your TPS-throttle position sensor, with some electrical connection cleaner. A faulty, or bad connection can cause may issues, such as the one that you have listed. This can result in premature engine wear and poor fuel economy. If cleaning the connections does not work, then I would recommend that you either adjust your TPS, or replace it. I would try adjusting it first, and if that does not work, then replace it. The TPS is on your throttle body and is usually held in place with two screws and has a plug-in. The mass air flow sensor, is in the breather box and will have wires connected to it as well.

High engine Idle

Find out what the trouble codes are before you replace anything.
I would disconnect the idle air control valve when the idle speed is around 1200 and see if the idle speed stays or continues to climb.
if it climbs with the valve unplugged, you have a vac leak somewhere, probably the intake gasket.

Chevy Malibu Cold Idle Problem

Check the water coolant thermostat. If it is stuck in the "open" position you are heating up all the water in the coolant system and this will take time. The thermostat keeps the water in the engine until warmed up to almost normal running temperature, only then does it allow the coolant to enter the radiator.

Hey when i start my car every morning my car idle going from 1500 to 2000 up and down after for like for 5 to 10 min or when the car warm it stop and goes back to normal and my check engine light it on can...

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
My car will not idle properly until after it is warmed up.(1995 Olds. Cutlass Supreme 3.4)
It wants to idle up and down between 1000 and and 2000 and will stall out if I don't keep it revved up at 2000 until it warms up.
Thank you and have a great day.

1992 Ford F250 Truck with start and idle problem

Could be many things, Check the EGR valve and make sure its not stuck open, Oil pressure low is probably due to rough idle or low RPM. Also may have restricted cat converter.

Idle problem when brakes applied

Sounds like you have a vacume leak on your brake booster ....with engine running have someone press the brake while you listen on the driver side by the master cylinder the large vacume line going to the booster behind the master cylinder is most likely the vacume leak...and if so you can get what you need at your local parts store ...

I'd be more leaning toward IAT sensor in your intake manifold.(2 wires usually) It basically senses incoming air temperature & sends info to computer to adjust injector flow according to incoming air temperature conditions.
