You need to change your resistor it has two wires that go to it its buy your blower fan under the hood this lets you ajust your speeds and its fan cooled it gets hot

The heater when I turn it on high blow it makes a noise like I can here a fan running and when I turn it down you can here it shut down. Note; the blower only works on high.

LOWER SPEEDS FOR HEATER / AC ARE CONTROLLED BY A RESISTOR. IT IS NORMALLY LOCATED UNDER THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE DASH, NEAR THE BLOWER MOTOR. APPROX. 2 1/2 INCHES LONG, HELD IN WITH 2 HEX OR PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWS. GET A NEW ONE BEFORE YOU START FOR IDENTIFICATION & COMPARING. GOOD LUCK, DR VOLT.

The blower for the a/c will quit and start up on its own. Sometimes when you have it on high, you can't adjust it down. If you turn it off, it will not turn back on.

Sounds like the blower motor is getting worn out, next time it does that, hit the blower motor, if it turns on, replace it.

Blower fan comes on high only after 5 mins.

Maybe a relay which is under the blower motor under hood or a blower control module or resistor depending on the ac system you have.
