I have a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix and I have a leak in my radiator. As I understand it my radiator is plastic and has been plugged once already so now I have to replace it. How hard is it to replace the radiator? I am hoping it is something my husband can do.

    Thanks!

How to get air out of the coolant system?

You can take the radiator cap off when cold and let run till thermostat opens and air bubles through hole. This will cause you to loose some antifreeze but you refill it while car is running. You may have a tube on tope the intake manifold usually on the left/drivers side that can be loosened once car is warmed up. If you go the cap route and the antifreese continues to blow out after filling, you have a blown head gasket.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

Even if my 2008 grand prix is completely warmed up, when I turn the fan on it only blows cold air.

Could be air in cooling system. Add antifreeze to cool radiator, run engine, cool, check level again, until completely full.
