Why is there water in the spark plug area 2009 Kia Rio 5?

Cracked head, blown head gasket would be my 1st thoughts. Check the radiator for bubbles while the engine is running, this is a good indication that the head gasket has blown or your head is cracked. It should be overheating if it has either.

I have a 06 kia rio and its missing with almost a 100k miles would that be injectors or is their spark plugs that i could change i have had the timing belt and clutch and pressure plate changed

Change the plugs. It could be both to be honest but the spark plugs usually go first before a fuel injector. Check for vaccum leaks also. They can cause a decent miss. If you need anthing else, let me know. I am here to offer my asistance to you. Thank you very much for choosing FixYa.

2004 Kia Rio turns over but won't start.

These are coil packs, the most likely problem will be the crank sensor,or the cam sensor, these are what trigger the pulse for spark, and injector pulse.

01 kia rio has bad rings in the # 3 cyl. i've been just changing the plugs and adding oil as needed but now the same old process happens missing, check engine light, changed all the plugs and wires still...

Rent a scanner, they present more information better that blinking lights. If the engine has a lot of miles, the timing belt is probably ready to fail. The better answer to your problems might be finding a good used engine in a wrecking yard rather than a rebuild of your engine to correct the oil use/plug fouling problem.

Hi I decided to change the spark plugs on my 2001 Kia Rio. First of all taking the boots of are no easy task, It's the first time i encounters these type of spark plug wires-the boot is about 6" long.- I...

its just the plug wire nothing else but i would only use kia plug wires after market ones are not made the same. just unplug them and plug the new ones in there is some grease you can put on the boot so next time they will not be so hard to take off any auto parts store sells it

No spark but everything replaced new. still wont run

Doesn't sound like a coil pack fault i'd say either a bad earth or a cam/crankshaft sensor. have them both checked out by an auto electrician. Or you could be sleeping in your garage for months trying to sort the problem.

Motor Oil in with spark plugs, backfiring and stalling.

hey i actually just dealt with this problem last week ona friends car. the oil in the center with the spark plugs is because you need a new valve gasket. not a cover unless its cracked just the gasket and it costs about 25 dollars at your local parts store. its very easy to install and a quick fix but try to get all the oil out of the center as you can and rub a little bit of old oil on the gasket before you install it. it helps stop dry rot. try this first and then see if the backfiring and stalling stops. if not, you may need to change your spark plugs again even if you already have because chances are the oil thats already in the hole has burned up the spark plug. so give your spark plugs a good check while you change your valve gasket.
