For a fast jump start......the bigger the better. Otherwise just let the battery build up for awhile.

Even putting in a good battery temporary for start. After it's warm it may start OK on the old one

Is there an auxiliary battery post to jump start 95 Mercedes C220

no
batteries have just the 2 posts
1 is positive and 1 is negative
connect one lead onto the positive post of the jumper car to the flat battery positive post
then connect the other lead to the negative post of the jumper battery of the jumper car then connect that lead end to the engine ( any bolt will do) do not connect to the flat battery negative post

I would think that if you do not know where the sump is on an engine then changing the oil will be beyond you. This service is very simple but it will lead to an engine failure if not done correctly

How do I jump start the car? The battery is dead

YOU DO.
Pull another car or battery to front of car ,,and get the set of jumper wires (RED/BLACK) Red lead goes to Poss term (the biggest one) on both cars ..
Then the black lead goes to the earth side of battery
When started let engine run for 2 minutes and then remove the Black lead first on both cars then the Red lead, then let it run for about another 6 minutes or take it for a drive ,,,but connect the leads around the correct way to batterys......
