Can i put brake fluid in my power steering 94 plymouth grand voyager?

Never brake fluid and nothing else goes in brake master cylinder.

Put power steering fluid or automatic transmission fluid (dextron)

I accidently put automatic trans fluid in my power steering reserviour

Transmission fluid and power steering fluid are the one in the same. They are both hydraulic fluid. Only the red dye. Your vehicle will operate fine on transmission fluid in the power steering pump. Just don;t put power steering fluid in your transmission

I have an 1987 toyota supra just did the breaks on and went to test them and moved the car and could stop but i got out of the car and there some red milky looking fluid on the ground that wasnt there...

Old brake fluid can be a dark brownish red color due to contaminates like rust in the system. But the fluid you speak of could be automatic trans fluid. Is your car an automatic? The power steering system in this car also takes automatic trans fluid. Check the fluid levels in the reservoirs. You may have either a auto trans leak or a power steering leak.

Having owned a trans repair shop years ago, listen and take heed

You ALWAYS change Trans,Power Steering,EVERY THREE YEARS and
NEVER,EVER,EVER go more than 30,000 miles TOTAL,EVER,ON ANY
VEHICLES,or it is a death sentence

The BRAKE FLUID--2 years NEVER,EVER GO MORE THAN 2 Years

Do you need special steering fluid and is the holder marked? I have a 1997 4d automatic transmission Have had the car for 10 yrs no major problems but it has no manual where can i download one for free...

You use power steering fluid in there. (older vehicles could use trans fluid but it's no longer OK) Reservoir should be marked or you can follow the hoses from the pump and one of them will lead you to it.

Where is the power steering reservoir located on the 1990 Toyota Carolla?

Make sure that your vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is cool before you check fluid levels. Power steering fluid and other fluids read at different levels when warm instead of cool. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir. It is located under the hood of your Toyota Corolla on the passenger side next to the engine. The reservoir is connected to the power steering pump. Remove the cap and use the dipstick to check the fluid level. For the most accurate reading, clean off the dipstick with a rag first, then re-insert and remove for the fresh reading. Add automatic transmission fluid or power steering fluid approved for use in Toyota vehicles if the fluid is below the low level mark. Add fluid gradually to keep for over filling the reservoir.
this will help.thanks.

Redish fluid (power steering or break fluid. it

Automatic transmissions use red fluid & it is routed through a line to the radiator for additional cooling. You would want to check that set of hoses & connections between the trans & radiator first. Secondly, the PS pump also uses trans. fluid & you'll need to trace those hoses & check for leaks.

good luck
