Question about GMC Sierra

1 Answer

All speeds work but when you cut them off they still work. I unpluged the fuse to get them to stop . this is a first for me in dealing with the wipers. Thanks for any help in solving this problem.

Your question is not clear, but I think you are saying that the wipers work OK but they will not park. If that is it.......the park circuit is faulty and will most likely need a new motor. The park mechanism is generaly in the gearbox of the motor

Cruise control not working

cruise controls are dependent on the following sensors all working together
brake sensor
clutch sensor
auto--vehicle speed sensor
rpm's sensor
fuse for the cruise control
cruise control switch either or all not working will stop the cruise control from engaging
road speed at which you can engage the cruise control has to be above a reset speed before it will cut in and work

Renault grand scenic heater stopped working, only able to pick slowly at 1. I replaced the fuse and it could work at 1 and 3 only but the resistor unit became very hot.

u have a faulty heater resistor, very common fault on these. unfortunately its not a simple case of unplugging it and plugging in a replacement though, due to the resistor overheating it damages the connections so when you buy one it will also come with the wire harness which needs to be cut and soldered into your existing harness.

Heater blower went out

Normally when the blower motor goes out it has trouble a few days before and cuts in and out so I would check fuses first but I may be wrong and if the fuses are fine the I would change the motor

The blower motor worked then suddenly stopped

At the central junction box, check 15A fuse 16 which feeds the remote climate control (RCC) module. Check 10A fuse 28 which feeds the RCC module and the blower motor relay. Check 40A fuse 6 which feeds the blower motor relay. If the fuses are OK, start the engine (the blower only works while the engine is running). There should be 12V at the PNK/WHT wire connection to the front blower motor speed controller and the blower should be operating. If not, the controller may be defective or the blower motor may have failed

I would suspect you have a short in the wiring to the transmission or the shift solenoid inside the ****** is shorted. Only way to know for sure is to get the wiring diagrams and trace down and inspect all the wiring that the fuse powers.

Where is the blower motor for the heater on a 97 chevy blazer 4.3 L?

It will be under the hood on the passenger side of the firewall. If it has never been changed there may be a plastic cover over it that will need to be cut out and removed. There are labels on the cover that will tell you where you need to cut in order to gain access to the blower motor.

Speed control for the ac blower motor is maybe transistorized and has been shorted. Take that speed control out or unplug it. It is usually located on the blowere housing itself. If the fuse stops blowing when you unplug that speed control then it is the problem. Anyways the speed control may have three or more wires going into it. Comment back on it and I will try to help you on this one.
