All poles on trailer wiring plug work except the running lights and or trailer marker lights. have checked with a tester and everything on pickup hookup under rear bumper seems fine except that pole, there is no current being sent to that specific power pole from the pickup back to the connection. The truck is protecting itself from the load impose by the trailer.. Chk the plug on the truck for wire gauge size. Turn any electrical loads off on the trailer, any and all. If fuse still blows then the fuse is either underated or the trailer has a dead short. In fact turn trail main power panel of. All lights work you say. So ck the inverter for defect byturning off the inverter on one of the trailers.

No running lights on boat trailer towed by 2008 ford f150

You can purcahse a tester which will connect into the F-150's wiring harnes. If the led lights up, the problem is witht he trailer's wiring harness. this tester will indicate the proper operation of the brake light and turn signals.

Trailer wiring

First check and make sure that the marker lights are working on your pickup. If not, check the fuse. If they are, you will need to make sure the there is power going in to your trailer plug form the brown wire. Then check and make sure you have power through the trailer wire. All of this can be done using a electrical tester you can get from the dollar store.
