My ford 2001 explore sport wont start i change the fuel filter and the fuel pump but no start what could be the problem

Sounds like fuel pump, fuel pump relay, fuel filter, Tank fuel pump.

The most common cause of this is that the fuel pump is drawing to much current due to wear and a possible burned fuel tank connector at the tank. To replace the pump you must raise the truck up and remove the fuel tank. Also replace the fuel filter which is on the inside of the frame on the drivers side. Use a rag to cover the fuel line when disconnecting it with the required special tool.

means that when power is on the fuel pump is sending fuel to the engine. since is by the transmission side then you have to check either is from any joint,hose or fuel filter.

take off your fuel filter and see if you can blow through it if not replace it and see if this fixes your problem

seperate the fuel line at the fuel injecter, turn the engine over if fuel comes out , more than likely it is not the pump, if you get no fuel, change the filter, try again, if no fuel most fuel pumps today are in the tank, drop tank change pump

First thing would be to replace the fuel filter. Then spark plugs. You may have a weak fuel pump. A faulty fuel pressure regulator could also cause this.

Did you change the two (2) strainers found on the fuel pump?? Also, has the fuel filter been changed in the last 60,000 miles.

Listen to see if fuel pump is kicking on it will make a high pitch nosie then click off after gas line is pressurized.

TUNEUP? WHAT WAS CHANGED?NEED TO CHANGE WIRES,PLUGS CAP&ROTOR ELECTRIC COIL, CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER,IF STILL THE SAME?TAKE OUT THE FUEL FILTER IF WET THEN OK, BUT IF DRY THEN ,FUEL NOT GETTING TO THE ENGINE,CK WIRES TO AND FROM THE PUMP,STILL THE SAME THEN NEW PUMP
