This sounds like a bad starter, it has dead spots and when it lands on one sometimes the jump starting will make it start due to extra power, check to be sure the battery is good then make sure the battery connections are good and if all of that looks good then its got to be the starter, you will need to test it, a testlight will be needed to do this, you will need someone to hold the key in the crank postion and you will use the test light to check for power at the starter, there are to cable going to starter a big one and a small one. the big cable that connects to the starter comes from the battery and has power at all times, then theres a small wire, this is the wire you check, you will see it bolts or slides onto connector on the back of the starter, with key in the crank postion test for power at the small wire if theres power then the starter is bad, good luck, hope this helps.1993 suzuki sidekick, when I - johnjohn2_83.jpg

It is Vitara sidekick 1997 model. Water temp sensor is replaced, the fault code erased, when I start the engine and drive, every thing looks nice, but when I switch off the Ig key and start the engine next...

you can get codes with out scan tool, this is done by counting the engine light flashes, for example a long flash is the first didgt and then faster blinks would be the next number, for example long flash long flash long flash= 3 then fast flash ,fast flash, fast flash, fast flash =4 which would be code 34, to get the codes look in the engine compartment in front of the battery is the connector, you will need a small wire to jump two terminals, jump terminals with wire then turn key on and count flashes, i will give you a diagram to locate connector and it will show you which terminals to jump look at connetor closely to make sure you are jumping the correct terminals, you can turn the key off and on to restart the codes again, this may take you a few trys to get the hang of it but you can restart the codes by just turning the key off and back on, when your done just remove the jumper wire, also a diagram is enclosed to show you how the flashes go, hope this helps ,good luck.

1993 suzuki sidekick 4 door has a rough idle. all 6 injectors are fine. problem is worse when engine is cold . Problem is also worse when the engine is warm and the air conditioner is on.

Check or change plugs and wires, and check timing. Aim a timing light at the mark on the crank. If the mark jumps around, your belt has slipped.

I have a suzuki escudo(sidekick) 1993 and have no spark

If its not the igniter, maybe you forgot to time the engine (timing marks will align at #4 firing poition, not at #1) when you remove the cam shaft. If the engine is not properly timed during assembly, it will not surely fire.

Finding truoble codes for 1994 suzuki sidekick

if you live in the states... just go to an autozone... they will scan the codes for free. you may also be able to retrieve the codes by turning the key off and on 3 times and counting the amount of times the check engine light flashes. almost like morse code... when you reach code 55 that's the end of the codes. this does not always work.
