Question about 1993 Suzuki Sidekick
This sounds like a bad starter, it has dead spots and when it lands on one sometimes the jump starting will make it start due to extra power, check to be sure the battery is good then make sure the battery connections are good and if all of that looks good then its got to be the starter, you will need to test it, a testlight will be needed to do this, you will need someone to hold the key in the crank postion and you will use the test light to check for power at the starter, there are to cable going to starter a big one and a small one. the big cable that connects to the starter comes from the battery and has power at all times, then theres a small wire, this is the wire you check, you will see it bolts or slides onto connector on the back of the starter, with key in the crank postion test for power at the small wire if theres power then the starter is bad, good luck, hope this helps.
