thanks for your input but the lower speeds on blower works which usually goes through the resister i think maybe the high speed blower relay could be bad. do you know where its at and where the electical actuator for the blend door is. no vacuum leaks found.thx

2004 Trailblazer 4.2L blower switch intermitent, blower relay $40 GM-15016745 & A/C relay $20 GM-12088567. I paid $480 dollars for the dealer to fix @ 85K, for $60 fix self @ 120K. This seems to be a weak point in the climate control system. After replacing these items just like new!

Most probable cause.. blower motor resister. & vaccuum leak to control blend doors or electrical actuator for blen door

there is no high speed blower relay . it all goes thru the resistor. & the actuator for the blend doors should be located on the heater box itself.. either that or if you hear the doors trying to open but dont, the doors may be broken inside box

Blower motor doesn't pump well even the fan switch on high

sounds like blower bearings are dried out and will eventually lock up the blower..sometimes you can spray wd40 in the blower bearings and it will work fine for a while.. also check vacuum controls to the baffle dors in the ductwork..may have some leaks there.. should hear a slight hissing if really bad..repost findings

1996 Chevy Astro A/C heater air vents will not blow air

the blower motor is under the hood on the pass side. u have to remove the wiper and radiator bottles and also the head light. than take out the 7 bolts that hold the blower motor in than u have to remove the squirel cage before the motor will come out. or it could be the Blower Motor Resistor.

2000 jeep grand cherokee, only blow out a little air even when the blower on hi,,you have to put your hand next to the vent to feel the air

you may have had something fall down into the defrost vent and it has worked its way down and is blocking the air flow thats trying to come out the vents, near the blower motor.also does it sound like the blower motor is spinning on high speed or at a lower speed, you could have a slow turning blower motor.

The blower motor stays on high all the time. A/C works but will not come out dash vents, comes out defrost and changes to floor when I accelerate. Thanks for your help. Cecil

Your problem with the blower motor only running on high is caused by a defective blower motor resistor pack. Replace the resistor pack. The problem with the vents is not related to the blower motor, and is caused by a problem with the vent controls. I suspect you have a vacuum leak under the dash.

The defrost and the floor vent does not work in my 2005 Dodge Neon... It sounds like the air is blowing in the dashboard, but does not come out of the vents

If there is no vacuum to the mode door control motor theheater/A/C system will default to "Defrost" If there is no air coming out the vents or floor - check to see if you have air blowing out the defrost vents. If there is air coming out the defrost, then the most likely cause of your problem is a broken or disconnected vacuum line that feeds the mode control switch. On your vehicle, the vacuum supply line connects to the brake booster hose under the hood. there is a check-valve on the line between the firewall and the brake booster that can fail and leak vacuum. if there is no problem with the vacuum supply line under the hood, then the most likely cause is a bad mode control switch. (switch leaking vacuum)

If there is no air coming out the defrost vents, but you can hear the blower motor running, there is most likely a resriction of airflow etween the blower motor and the air outlet plenum. I have seen A/C evaporators completely cloggedup that will not pass any air. I have also seen paers and napkins that have gotten sucked out of the glovebox area and into the "Recirc" air inlet. Another thing I have seen several times is nests made by mice or other small rodents in the blower motor housing.

youve got a bad blower motor resister. buy a haynes manual and the resistor and have a windy day again.

Blower motor vent selection switch not working

the hvac selector switch in the dash may be the problem. You need to remove the switch and look at the connector on the back of switch, see if there are any burnt wires at the connector or switch. It's all electronic and the switches have been known to burn out on this and other model.
