I have a 1994 Buick Skylark Custom 2.3L, 4 cylinder, SOHC...Three days a go, it wouldn't start. It has 110K miles on it, and everything, and I do mean everything, under the hood has been replaced. What could be the problem?! The IAC motor, the crank shaft sensor, fuel injectors, spark plugs, serpentine belt, fuel pump, engine computer, EVERYTHING, has been replaced. HELP!!!

Check for power to ignition module--pink wire. Use a 12 volt test light.

If your ignition key has a security chip in it then it won't allow the car to start if it is malfunctioning or the computer is not reading the resistance right. I had a 1994 cutlass supreme that wouldn't start. I by passed it by getting a resistor with the same ohms resistance as the ignition key's chip, cut the ignition wire, connected the resistor between the two wires I cut then put the key in the ignition and it started right up. Or you could go through the expense to replace the ignition switch and the key. Keep in mind this is only one possible solution if this is the problem. Let me know how you make out.

Bad fuel injectors, or fuel pump or fuel pick up in tank. Or if it is electrical it could be a bad coil, bad spark plug wire, bad starter motor bad throttle body, Does the engine crank? if not bad battery or alternator. See what I am getting at it could be a million things that you haven't replaced. It could even be a bad ignition switch. Or you replaced computer could have toasted already, this happens.

Did you mean coil the 1994 3.1 did not use a distributor , sounds like a bad coil pack and cylinders #3 and #6 do use the same coil. I would also check 3 and 6 plug wires this system is a waste spark design meaning when # 3 coil fires it is supposed to go through #3 plug wire , through #3 plug ( ground) through the engine block through the #6 plug then through the #6 wire then back to the coil, Then when #6 fires it works the opposite way, so in theory you could have one bad wire affecting 2 cylinders .....

1994 quad sohc cylinder heads

It would cost anywhere from $800-$1200 to replace it and the gaskets. Cheapest way to do it is to get one from the boneyard that you can take out yourself. this will give you an idea of how it comes apart without breaking anything on your car. Then just replace the one on your car with it. Just make sure to have it machined before you put it in.
