easy fix..if i can do it..haa... it is , now that Now know this is Not a 'computer part' and will not show up on a 'check engine' light' . to save $ and hassle, just puchasr a PCV ..ha..not pcv kit... at local parts store..Complete kit includes, the Valve, large 1/8 '' thick spring, two O-rings, and the PCV Retainer, that plastic part that 'holds' the pcv valve.. Cost / $15.tx. lets see.. Dorman part # 47033 kit , perfect fix...ok.. pop the hood, face the 3.8, locate the upper maniford( made of Plastic, ) , now to the left side of the upper manifold , located a little part labeled 'pressor sensor' , which is actuallt the M A P sensor, ten times less $ than the M A F sensor, located on the far opposite driver side end. My was old plastic,so i took my time, . You will see that sensor held in place by the pcv black plastic Retainer. Remove the MAP sensor( about 20-30 $ new) disconnecting the electric plug in. don't get in a hurry. After that sensor is removed , you can see that rascal pcv valve hiding low at the bottom of the valve retainer. Now with a handly socket, 5/8" , ( double check that 5/8'' size first) , place the socket in place on top of the retainer, and, because the valve is 'spring-loaded', Pressed Down and turn , at same time, the socket counter clockwise. Rainter may need a little coaking to get removed. THEN the valve is visible. I had to use a needle-nose pliers to grip the old valve up and out. Open your New PCV Valve KIT, Replace and know you saved $$ ! aftermarket.

3.8 liter non super charged.

Remove the plastic cover over the top of the engine. on the passenger side of the intake plenum there is a senor (MAP Sensor). That sensor mounts to the top of the PCV cover. Remove the MAP sensor. Remove the cover and the PCV valve will be underneath.

Where is the pcv valve on a 94 buick park avenue

I would recommend to learn more about your car is to go to your local bookstore and purchase a Chilton manual for your '94 Buick. This manual will not only teach more about your car, cut you will also be able to determine which maintenance tasks you want to do yourself and which you want to leave to a professional mechanic.

This should help you with both of your posted questions.

Hi how are you doing i have a 92 buick park ave iam tying to find the pcv if you can help me

Between the Alternator and power steering there is stamped PVC on the plactic cover. After removing the plactic cover there is a steel plate. Remove the two screws in the plate and remove the plate. The PVC is located under this plate. Most GM vehicles of that vintage have a rubber grommet into the rocker cover and the PCV valve presses into that grommet. You can tell where the PCV valve is by following the vacuum line back to the throttle body.

Where is the pvc valve located in a 1989 buick park ave. ?

The pcv valve stands for positive crankcase ventilation. It is located on the top one of the valve covers with a rubber tube leading to it, I believe.

My heater is only blowing cold air in my 1996 buick park avenue. had the thermostat changed but it didn't get any better

Could be the diverter valve. It's the one located near the firewall2_bing.gif in the engine bay. The valve is in-line on one of the two coolant hoses that run through the firewall. Have a helper rotate the temperature knob back and forth, with the ignition turned on, and you watch to see if the valve is being adjusted. I'm guessing it isn't. Best of luck!
