Question about 2004 Volkswagen New Beetle Convertible
There is a nylon cord that pulls the side flaps down when it opens. On mine one of the eyelets that the cord runs through broke ( a plastic piece. I am working on mine now. one sid eof mine still works right and I'm able to copy it. I'll post the solution when I get it fixed.

There is a channel that runs around the perimeter of the rear window. Just push the headliner border into this channel as you work your way around the window. You have to use some force to get it all the way in and it is a little tedious. But it works!
