Need to know length of serpentine belt to bypass A/C on a 1996 jeep grand cherokee 5.2 L

    The bypass is not done with a belt, it is done by installing an AC bypass pulley in place of the compressor aseembly, check with your local NAPA auto parts on this application, cost is abou $40

Take the old belt off. Place a piece of string around the pulleys in the correct routing location. The length of the string is the length of the belt you would need.

Not recommended to measure the serpentine belt...as to many variables...Your local Auto parts store should have your needed replacement in stock...best to be perfect on the dimensions...:) Your Make, Model, and engine are all the specs the Parts Team needs...:) Hope this helps.
