Question about Chevrolet Impala
Depends on what model car you have, some models had a fuel cut off switch that was triggered by the oil sensor switch. It is possible that the lead was pulled off accidentally as you were working on the car, this oil sensor switch by the oil filter. Also Look for any wire you may have accidentally pulled apart or off. If the car kicks over with the starter, but does not run also check your distributor cap center lead, to see if you may have dislodged the main coil lead going from the distributor to your coil.
