Question about Chrysler LeBaron
The old dodges had a ballast resistor that would cause this. It is a ceramic rectangle shaped part held on by a screw with 2 wires plugged into it. It should be on the firewall. New ones are $5 at part stores. If they crack, the car can die going down the road, won't start if there is even a little moisture in the air.
