Hi, it may have a sticky idle speed control motor. Try cleaning it with carb cleaner and a rag, also clean out the throttle body the same way. You may have to replace the IAC motor if it doesnt fix it, also use the carb cleaner to spray around the intake looking for vacuum leaks, if you spray any the engine idle will change...

Normally ckeaning the throttle body would fix the problem...

How to reset 2004 gmc envoy after changing the thermostat my car stall when I turn on ac

Probably an AC compressor problem - if it is even partially seized, when the AC clutch engages that will stall the truck.

Idle drops right down to a stall when ac turns on. This started after i changed the battery

Cleaning of the throttle body is in order, grime build up is preventing throttle plate from closing completely at idle.

How do you change an idle control valve on a 2003 gmc envoy

The idle air control valve will be located at the top of the engine on top of the intake manifold. If you hold the new valve and then look at the manifold you should see where it goes. I'm guessing it'll have 2 screws and 1 electrical connector. The one's that I've replaced were very easy to get to and replace. Not sure on your vehicle. The screws may be phillips or torx type heads. Good luck, if this helps please rate this. Thanks.
