Sounds like a bad starter. Remove starter and have it tested at your local parts chain. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Sounds like a run down or dying battery. Have the battery charged and get the charging system checked before buying a new battery. Use a hygrometer to check the battery acid SG. This will give you an indication of the battery's present state of charge If you have a volt meter, a quick check would be to start the car and measure the voltage across the battery as you increase the engine RPM to about 2000, it should rise to around 14 volts. If it does not, the charging system would appear to be defective.

Car wont start got ignition lights wont even turn over

Do the ignition lights go out when you try to turn it over? if so it sounds like a flat battery if not sounds like a starter motor problem, try a bump start - pushing it with a driver in it selecting second gear and lifting you foot of the clutch once pushed at speed

2003 Saab 9-5 - I'm having the following problems. 1. The trunk will not open either from pressing the trunk release button and will not open from the remote. 2. On the monitoring console, a message is...

1) The trunk opens with and electric solenoid in the trunk. It must receive power from fuse thru button or remote. I'm guessing you can open trunk with key? With help listen in trunk when release button pushed, you should hear some kind of "click". If not continue troubleshooting for power.
2) One of my cars (Jag) was doing same thing. Problem was dirty float in reservoir. I removed from car and cleaned thoroughly
