Question about 1994 Ford Taurus
I know for my taurus me and wife were having same issue found that that the nuetral saftey switch was not positioning right adjusted linkage which solved problem don't know if this will help but the next time it wont start attempt to restart car in nuetral position and of course with the brake applied

Check for constant battery power on the main lug of the starter constantly. and check the small wire for battery power while trying to start if you are missing the small wire power could be your starter relay or ignition switch, you can also try jumping the two posts on the starter with the key on if it starts you are missing the starter signal decribed above (small wire) please rate -jeff
