Question about Dodge Dakota

The head lights no matter what I try they won't quit slowly flashing. then last night my turn signals suddenly went out, I went to my brothers to see if he could fix these light problems, he got the turn signals back but not the head light flashing problem. He asked me to get on google to see if any one could tell where to go from here . he is a machanic and he said he has never seen head lights do that ,well niether have I , I just bought the truck 4days ago but did not notice light problem till next night. When I test drove it it was day light and it ran great , it is 5 speed.Thank you.

Certainly is an unusual symptom. You might try unplugging the headlight switch and replacing it with one from an auto salvage yard. The flashers also might be part of the problem. There are relays under the hood and on the fuse panel but I am guessing you've looked at these already.

look for a broken feed wire somewhere ,sorry i have no product knowledge to tell you where to look first ,but under bonnet is often a fuse box with the big main fuses that feed the fuse box inside the vehicle ,

have you walked around and check the turn signal bulbs and sockets for burned bulbs and/or corrosion? if so then you might want to look at getting a new turn signal handle " stalk" . good luck and let me know what you find out.
