Question about Saturn Ion
Easiest thing to do is check the manual that came with the car. otherwise if you don't have one look for a dipstick marked transmission if there's none you'll have to get it up on a hoist or ramp so you can get under the vehicle while it's level and find a level plug on the side or front of the transmission itself. with this you have to remove the plug and if a bit of fluid doesn't dribble out when you take it out, then put your finger in and feel for the oil. if you can't feel it then you have to top it up through that hole.
