SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

What do you need to clean the vaporizer with

No one has answered your question Katie, so not sure why the expletives and the asking if someone is 'for real'? The related questions below are suggestions based on the question, but are notoriously wrong. For starters, you posted to the category 'Cars and Trucks'. I think you are talking about those smoking devices that emit huge clouds of smoke.

Why is jeff armer answering questions. His answer to most people is see a repair man most of us can not afford that. we are looking for trouble shooting answers to help us.

people who answer questions on fixya site are well aware of the reasons that people come here to ask questions
WE are also well aware that the people who ask the questions firmly believe that a reset button fixes the problem, that they have the ability to know how to fix a tv with out any training, how to fix a car by replacing everything and generally do not use common sense when approaching a problem
The best place to start is to talk with a repair man to get a diagnosis of the problem first, have the fault codes read first, or simply step back and think what about the problem may be
May answers are close , some are spot on and others are looking outside the square and give a direction to the answer
We all say go to a repair shop as that is the first place to go and it generally doesn't cost to simply ask a question and if it does then that is not a place to go for repairs
Remember, if you bother to read associated answers to questions , you will see that in most cases , people who answers need a crystal ball, because the questions are --simply put--rather poorly asked so are directed to a repair shop

My name is Mansour i asked a question about my 2015 town and country.when you say answer in minutes.that means minutes or like 2500 minutes

it means that you will get an answer when someone takes the time to read the question, decipher what you mean to ask, look for additional information that you forgot to include and then probably could not be bothered to answer
every answer you get is from a person who has experienced the problem, has experience on your machine or knows the fix
posts are not linked so this post means nothing

Click on your highlighted name, I saw several posts. The bottom one appeared to have an answer. I don't know if it was the answer you wanted? I'm not a computer person, I doubt I can help.
If you want to reply to a post, click on the comment link, That way the person your talking to will know your asking another question.

I asked a question about a forester 2001, and I have not seen the answer. Is the answer ready?

the only way this question can be sorted if someone that knows the answer to it can help you.
it needs the right person to see it to help you.
so you may need to but your question back up again.

What exactly is this site?

Maybe your questions were not about something our army of experts can answer. You can't pay enough to get someone to talk to you. Fixya does not work that way. You post a question, someone types a response.

Why don't I get an answer to the question I have asked twice.

You've actually received one answer so far, not counting this one.
The answers you are talking about are suggested by the website. Check the dates.
One person gave an answer that the number was on the front or back of the block.
Before 1968 the serial number was stamped on the block under the driver side cylinder head.

Hey, you seem very knowledgeable.

Thank you for your request. It is funny you should ask that. I stumbled on to Fixya about a month ago while looking for an answer for a problem and while looking at someone's question I thought "Heck! I know what's wrong with this person's problem" and so on an impulse, I signed up and answered his question (right at this point, I can't remember if I helped that first person or not! must be getting old!). If you are really looking to make money off the site, sign on alot and always list yourself as avaible and answer the questions that will make you money, but be aware that those questions get droves of answers so you have to be quick on the draw. I must admit I must be touched in the head because I like answering questions that relate to the computer field because I work in it for 8+ hours a day. I figure if you can answer a question without being at or around the equipment it will help your mental process when you do have that happen at work. Or lets put it this way, it helps me in my daily work and helps keep it fresh in my mind, your milage may vary. I also try and answer questions that I know I can explain and I try to remember what it was like to know nothing about the questions I'm answering and fashion my answer to help the people who truly don't know, care or understand why the answer works but to give them the information they need to either fix their problem or make an informed decision about how to proceed to fix their problem, The site is pretty straight forward for the most part and isn't hard to learn but remember that is coming from a person who has had a computer since 1984 and hasn't been without a computer since I purchased my first computer. I hope that answers your questions and If I can help again, please ask. It might take me a day or two to answer (sometimes life gets a bit crazy!) but I will answer when I get the chance to.

Once again, thank you for asking, I hope that helps!
