Hi firstly i suggest you remove the radio from the dash at the rear you will notice a block at the bottom of the radio these are your speaker wires remove this block its likely that the pa stage has blown but just check it with another radio if you can get one this will ilimanate the following .if the speakers work with another radio then the fault lies in the radio itself and more than likely the output has blown hope this helps you goodluck

Sound does not come on

If the sound doesn't come on there's obviously something wrong with your radio. I would say just go back to the dealership and tell them what's going on with your radio.

No sound radio honda accord 2004

Either radio is bad, or you have a loose connection to speakers, or poor ground connection at the radio. If a poor ground connection, the radio will intermittently not work also. Since radio continues to work, but sound does not, it is probably a bad audio circuit in the radio itself.

Where is the radio fuse located in a 2002 toyota echo? because my radio will power on, but no sound comes out.

If the radio powers on, the fuse is OK. You probably have a bad output section in the radio.

Bose radio comes on but no sound in my 2004 chevy avalanche.Sometimes even with radio off you hear a popping sound come from speakers. thanks

First Visually check all your fuses. Does rig have amp for stereo by any chance? It sounds like amp is bad and/or fuse is blown. Amp is wired between radio and speakers, and a shorted amp would make crackling in speakers when radio is OFF

No sound coming from radio on 2005 SV6

A lot of the new radios are software driven and there may be a new software update to fix this. Must be done by a dealer.

Check all the fuses in both fuse boxes.  If that doesn't help replace the radio.

Cracking sound from Radio Speakers

I disconnected the amp and ran jumper wires for the proper speakers (two wires per speaker eight total) . Basically I bypassed the amp now all speakers work and sound fine.
