Ok, well i have a 2006 volkswagon jetta and the horn stop working so i thought i could fix the problem by looking at the fuse box only problem is ... is when i got my car irt didn't come with a manual so...

hi any good motor parts retailer should be able to get you a workshop manual for this vehicle, this should have the fuse layout in it and tell you what and where the fuses are, also, there should be a printed layout on the fuse box cover or some sort of imprinted picture of it on the cover, the horn could be a few things, obviously fuse could be a good place to start, the other could be the horn itself, these are so prone to getting water and dirt in them because of there position on the vehicle, the other thing could be the the bit you press the contacts for the horn might be broken or not contacting, but its very rare they go, so i think either fuse, or horn itself...hope this helps

Hello,

depending on the vehicles engine configuration it should be fuse no. 42 in the fascia fusebox.

Please try this first and drop me a line if it´s not no. 42, i´ll post a complete list and diagram then.

99 jetta radio doesn't work

This seems to be a common problem with this series of radio. If you open the drivers door and pop the fuse panel cover off the side of the dash, then located fuse number 42 ( should be 25 amp). Remove the fuse, check to see if it is blown(it usually isn't) and leave it out for about 30 seconds to 1 minute and then reinstall. Hope this helps it worked on my jetta.

Hi which is the fuse for a window motor as cant find it in the manual. and do both windows run off a seperate fuse or just one in fuse box? Volkswagon polo 1999

It should be clearly labeled in the fuse box with a standard symbol assuming it is standard fit. Keep looking or get a good mechanic involved.

In the fuse box on 06 Jetta TDI, which fuse is the radio fuse?

Check out #19 OR check out #8. The fuse should be a BLUE 15a fuse. They are located in FUSE BOX B under the hood on the driver's side. For some reason VW varied the fuse locations from car to car and year to year. None of the fuse panel fuse locations match what your manual says. So there may or may not be any fuses in slots #8 or #19. Either way, you're looking for a blue 15amp fuse - so check all of the blue ones to see if any are blown.

Display on radio and back wiper and lighter

The would be the most comun ploblem. Lock for the fuse box. When you find it there shoud be a diagam that tell you where the fuse is located, if not you can upll out the fuses one at a time untill yuo find the burn one. make sure to get the fuses in the same spot and all the way in.

Radio

My son has a 2004 Volkswagon Jetta that had a dead radio. It occurred after my daughter -in- law experienced a dead battery, requiring a jump start. The radio was totally dead. All fuses in the fuse panel were checked first. My local Volkswagon service center was kind enough to assist me in removing the radio from the instrument panel (special "key" required) free of charge. In the back of the radio is a 10-amp mini fuse that was blown. Check it out before you spend megabucks replacing anything else.
