Question about 2006 Hummer H3

1 Answer

We were driving down the street and my boyfriend accidently hit the button with the 4 the arrow pointing up and the lock on it, then while still driving hit the 4wd button. Now when we make a hard turn to park or in reverse its hard, and feels like something is rubbing or grinding. i dont know if pushing these buttons has anything to do with that issue? it wasnt doing that before they were pushed. if you can please tell me what i need to do. thanks

This truck should not be operated on the street in 4WD mode. You need to investigate the front axel CV axel shafts as well as the outer axel carrier bearings. Damage to front brake rotors and possible lock down while operating the vehicle. Safety hazard exist, so do not drive until axel and bearings are checked and repaired

I would probably start by removing the wheel and the drum and talking a peak. It should be pretty obvious. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using!

Turn on the radio so the battery is engaged, or turn on the engine.

  • 2 Fold down the cargo partition in the trunk and lock it on both sides. If the cargo partition is not down, there will be no place in the trunk to store the convertible top.
  • 3 Press the convertible button forward to open the top. It's located under the circular control button on the consul. The button has a picture of a window with one arrow pointing up and another pointing down.
  • 4 Pull the convertible button backward to close the top.
  • 5 Use your key to open or close the top when you are outside of the BMW but still close to it. Press and hold the arrow button on top of your key to open the top. To close the top, press and hold the Lock button. The car does not need to be turned on to operate the top with the key.

There is a triangle with exclamation mark inside a circle with an arrow pointing down

This is a low tire warning light, check the air in your tires. Once the tire is at capacity and you drive on it, it will turn off.

    Won't start

that sounds like you have a loose ground cable or positive or both to the battery. there is also a fuel cutoff switch in the trunk behind the fabric. make sure you check this . generally in a rollover or accident the switch will trigger and the fuel stops killing the engine. hitting the pot hole could do this as well. make sure all your connections to the battery are clean and tight. hope this helps please rate this solution. thank you.
