That's the trouble with aged electrical systems. They can have corroded contacts or some other issue that causes intermittent problems and diagnosing them is a headache. I would say the likely culprit is a failing relay or a wire not making good contact anymore. But here's to hoping it doesn't happen again anyways. HEP is a good possibility. ASD relay cutting out when it gets hot could do it. Bad connection at the fuel pump or any of the related relays. Since electrical contacts are generally metallic, they tend to change with temperature. So letting it cool off would change it back to the working state. However, that's a long shot. That it's more likely something simple, like an intermittent HEP problem. It's unusual for something to break and then fix itself. I'm just throwing out possibilities for when it happens again in the future If it is an impending fuel pump failure, there are ways to test for it. There's really not much to a turbo. This sounds like your wastegate isn't working properly. If the wastegate doesn't open or opens partially, you will lose the turbo, which in turn loses power. here's a link to show you how a turbo works.

I'm soory I misworded that. If your wastegate is staying open, or patially open then you will lose turbo, which in turn you will lose power.

Come on guys. This is clearly a turbo problem. There is no electrical anything to the turbo, so this has nothing to do with the electrical system or the battery.

Well no kidding ajkill. This is obviously a turbo issue.

You don't need to get it serviced. Most likely the wastegate is just a bit rusty and stuck open. Lubing it with some penetrating oil over night should resolve your problem.

Have you checked the wastegate yet?

P0601 code c0899 u1064 what do they meen

601 is internal memory code.
899 is power take off code, Dealing with loss of power.
0164 is loss of communications. Again this could be loss of power.
Clear the codes. run it down the road for a while , check codes again.
If they come back, you either have a bad wire some where or the control module is bad..

Having a problem with 94 4.6 liter merc stumbleing or cutting out, it is intermient but always at the same spot in the throttle. tps o k. code 233. i am thinking cps and or edis module but dont want to go...

Usually the code means the throttle position sensor has failed or there is a short in the harness. You describe a worn out sensor, they can get a dead spot just off idle where the throttle stays most of the time.
A mechanic would use an ohm meter to test the sensor or watch the data on a scanner.

Code 43 has different meanings. It has to do with the knock sensor, electronic spark timing failure, left O2 sensor failure, and equate code 42a. Ithink that has to do with ignition switch failure. Good luck.

Wipers stop after 5 minutes of slow or intermiant speed use.

Try replacing the Wiper Motor Pulse Board Module. It is available at aftermarket parts stores, it is easy to replace, and it is a high failure item. Eventually, the module will fail completely and leave you with no wipers.
