TO clean the throtle plate use a small tooth brush and some throtle body cleaner. remove the intake hose, spray the throtlebody and then open the throtle plate and spray plate , use brush to clean body and plate then spray clean try not to spray to much into engine , after its clean then start the engine you may have to hold gas pedal down to start as it going to be a little load up with fuel from the cleaner, some time sit will start up on its on and run a little rough for a few seconds and clear up. As far as the mass sensor this needs to be cleaned with mass air flow cleaner, this is a spray like the throtle spray but is made for that sensor and drys fast, spray the two sensors inside but dont touch them or move them spray as close to them as you can to clean them, good luck.

Just changed everything plugs plug wires caps fuel filter and my 2005 Chevy impala 3.4L act's like it has power but still sputtering when I smash the accelerator what is going on I'm going crazy

Clean the throttle body on the inside, especially where the plate sets and the back side of the plate. Also clean the MAF sensor between the throttle and air filter. Use brake clean and a toothbrush, just spray down the MAF sensor. It'll take a second or two to start, then spray some down the throttle as you rev it up. This should take care of the sputter.

How to fix surging and fast idle 1999 chev astro van

Clean the throttle /throttle plate, MAF(mass air flow sensor) (if you have one), and the idle air control motor. You can use brake clean and a toothbrush. But not on the MAF sensor. Just spray it with brake clean.

Missing problum

Here's what you do. Remove the air plenum/duct from the throttle body. Pull the mass air flow(MAF) sensor from that. Use brake clean and spray the MAF from both sides(do not use a brush or fingers to clean it, sensitive). Use the brake clean and a toothbrush to clean the throttle body, clean especially around where the throttle plate rests and the back of the plate, plus as far as you can in the throttle body. Start the engine (it will take a second or two to start because of the brake clean), then rev it up and spray brake clean in the throttle. Throttle it, as it will want to die. Do this for a few seconds or so. Turn it off and reassemble the plenum. Check engine light will go off as soon as you reconnect the MAF. If you still have a slight stumble, Then remove the hard plastic tube from the plenum by the throttle body. Start the engie, after it is warmed up, pour water down that hole while revving up the engine, as it will want to die. This will clean all the carbon build up off the pistons and valves. Again do this for a few seconds. If you still have the stumble, then you have bad valve seats.Where the vavle sits on the head. To fix this is $800+

Changed plugs and wirers still almost dies at idel otherwise runs good

Clean the Mass air flow (MAF) sensor and the throttle body. I use brake clean and a tooth brush for the throttle. Clean around the throttle plate and the back of it as best as possible. Start the engine (it will take a second or two) Then rev it up and spray some into the throttle. Just spray the MAF, both sides, don't use the brush on it, you could break a $100 part.

1994 Olds Cutlass Ciera: I want to clean out the Throttle Body with CRC cleaner, but am blocked by metal screen (honeycomb). How do I safely remove/reinstall this part?

That is probably the Mass air flow meter. You would take the hose off between the MAF and the throttle body to access the throttle plate. Cleaning the MAF can damage it.
