This all depends if it runs good and not rough or skipping then i would say to check the idle control valve. this valve is what controls the idle and if it goes bad then it will cause engine to idle high or low and make it stall at stops. this is what i would start looking at first, you can try to remove and clean this valve and see if that helps but if not then replacing it may be needed. good luck.

My Toyota Celica continues to try and stall/sputter while either stopped at a light/stop sign and now while I'm driving. Please help diagnose.

A faulty EGR system will also cause this kind of problem, as well as a dirty throttle body. Have then checked.

What is the problem when I have a coolant leak dripping off of oil pan on a 1993 toyota camry xle v6 on the passenger side.

dripping on the side sounds like a water pump leak but putting a stop leak in might slow the leak down it also plugs up the heater core and that wil cost more to fix than putting off the pump repairs but if you must try using pepper from your dinner table a table spoon or so

It starts flashing when ive been driving for a bit. my truck also idles high and the rpm needle goes up and down while im driving and causes the truck to **** back and forth as if i was reving the engine....

Take your vehicle to nearest autozone have them test .tell them your check engine lihht comes on and tell them your symptoms .the test is free and they may get a computer code telling if a sensor (which I suspect) is bad.please leve good feedback if you are satified with this solution.

Knocking engine slow knock when idling, faster and louder when accelerating

This is a tell-tale sign of internal engine problems. You may have a failed piston, broken piston rings. A blown head gasket between the cylinders can also cause this problem.

I hope this helps! I wish I had better news for you. :(

Can it be a sensor or fuel line? As long as I'm driving its find..when I come to a complete stop..it shuts off

Sounds like an EGR problem to me. Runs fine off idle, but sputters and stalls when you slow down or come to a stop. If your EGR system is malfunctioning it can cause this symptom.

1996 Toyota Camry Stalls when slowing down/stopped

Your carb may need cleaning. I had the same problem with my Astra. If not then there is too much air getting into the engine.

My Toyota Camry won't start

your engine overheated and cylinder head might be warped, in some cases replacing cylinder head gasket works but then if the warpage is too much, you have to get a new cylinder head.
