There is a knocking sound that comes from the right front wheel area only while braking and it's only heard at low speeds. i've taken the wheel off to inspect the rotor and brake pads. all seem to be in...

unless you have removed the rotor, you have not really inspected anything yet. the thumping will be caused by a high spot on the rotor. usually rust. lookes like you going to need rotors.

Repetitive thumping/growling noise from front right wheel area. Brakes are okay. Noise starts as soon as I start driving. Any ideas?

If the pitch increases with speed it would probably be a wheel bearing. Don't leave it too long as it will cause big problems if it lets go.

Thumping at front passenger wheel area

if the noise isassociated with "wheel speed" then it is in the rolling parts... axle hub bearing brake rotor caliper wheel or tires...if it goes away on right turns then you are unloading or separating the issue a hub /wheel bearing /axle issue is most likely...does your brake pedal pulse when you feel it..(riding the brake while driving)..does the steering wheel shimmy ?
