Question about 1994 Volkswagen Jetta
It sounds like either your CV joint or your wheel bearing is failing. It's definitely time to STOP driving it and check it out. Lift the vehicle and remove the left front tire. You will not necessarily be able to determine if you have a bad wheel bearing with the tire on. Once exposed, you can see and check everything for excessive play and roughness. Either problem is very serious and needs to be fixed immediately.
