Question about Mercedes-Benz CLK
Check voltage across battery with engine running and engine off ,check with a automotive multimeter as it may just be a faulty dial ,if voltage rises to 14.7 volts or there abouts with engine at 2000 rpm then all is fine ,if low then it could be a problem with the ECU as this controls the output on a newer car like this and if its not working correctly then its a expensive dealer job but the alternator can be converted back to battery sensed charging
