2005 RENAULT what else do you expect these cars are very good but renoun for their fancy dealer only electrics ,as its a 2005 then its dealer only to sort it out as the OBDII can only be accessed by the dealer via the internet with the authorised mechanic entering his fingerprint onto computer pad thing for the factory to recognise it .And no doubt they will want to fit a new ECU unit which with labour will set you back about 1500 euros ,

Prestige Car alarm keeps locking my doors. Even when I unlock them. Sometimes they stay unlocked for a short time. But eventually lock myself In the car or outside the car.

All car alarms have a timer. Once you unlock, you have a short time before it relocks. If you unlock it and just sit in the car, the car will lock itself. You have to do something like start the engine or turn the key to the auxiliary position and listen to the radio. Then the car knows that it is being looked after. The timer can be preset or it may be adjustable. It is better to leave as it, because the doors will lock if you forget.

Many cars will lock the doors automatically with you inside it as soon as you put the car into gear.

Doors automatically lock sometimes while in motion other times after the engine has been shut off. Using the remote to unlock the doors results in the doors unlocking them immediately relocking.

Ford falcon locks

Dude, the same thing happened with my EL falcon. It turned out to be the key fob! The buttons were sometimes sticking and all of a sudden it would re-lock. Ususally it would unlock then immediately relock. Leaving no time to get into the the car. Sometimes we would be driving and the Alarm would go off without touching a thing. I ditched the Key Fob and all was well again.
I hope this helps
