Test the old one with a ground and a live wire away from fuel tank is best but need to remove to change....be sure you have good reliable power to pump...problem could be supply power especially if fuel pump works when you jumpshort it.should make a whirring sound.

2000 Cherokee: Thought I had run out of gas at the house but put more gas in and wont start. It does start for 2-3sec then dies. What could it be ? fuel filter??

Are you located where it is below freezing? May just have a frozen gas line. If not I would suggest a fuel pump of fuel filter.

Cranks & cranks & will not start, changed fule filter

need to put a fuel pressure tester on the fuel rail to see if there is any fuel pressure. if there is then pull a plug wire off with someone cranking to see if there is spark, don't hold the end of the wire, it will shock the living tar out of you. and don't touch the car either when holding the wire. you will ground yourself. best of luck.

Grand voyger wont start in the heat

Have fuel pressure tested when it happens if you can, or take it to shop, let it run on a hot day, then check it. May be a fuel pump on it's way out.

2000 Chevy Blazer Cranks but wont start...

What about the fuel filter????? Have you changed it out??? If you can spary something like a started fluid, that means it is a fuel problem. My last check, it has to be above 50-psi on the fuel pressure to make it run right. I had 35psi, but whould not get over 30mph or down hill maybe 45mph. Check both filter & pressure, but check pressure with a New fule filter!!!!
