If its showing the electric zigzag thingy then most likely fault is the O2 sensor ,its flashing this fault as its getting too much fuel ,but it could also be a coil fault somewhere or ignition module as well as this will misfire and allow to unburnt fuel into cat throwing the light on ,also a fuel injector is staying open throwing too much unburnt fuel into cat

Misfiring

code p0303 refers to cyl 3 misfire detected ===causes engine mechanical fault--wiring--ignition/fuel system--injector--ECT/MAF sensor--ECM
code p0316 refers to misfire detected during start up --first 1000 revs===causes --engine mechanical fault--wiring--ignition/furl system--injector
the common fault cause is ignition/ fuel system and injectors so I would be checking fuel pressure and injector systems for clean and wiring connections are good especially on no 3 injector.

check the injector (first injector from cam belt side). you will also need live data software running with the engine running. just to make sure there is nothing ells causing the problem..

My 1kz prado is not starting opened the injector nozzle no fuel comes when engine is cranked. Had a diagnosis fault fuel control sensor relay changed it but still no fuel come on the nozzle. Please advise...

When you switch the ignition on, you should hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds, then stop. What the system is now waiting for is the crank angle sensor input, to tell it to run the pump again. If you have a crank angle sensor problem (or immobiliser problem) the pump will not switch on again, so no fuel pressure. You need to establish if the pump runs and builds fuel pressure when you crank. Pump runs, but no pressure? No fuel getting into pump, out of fuel, or strainer blocked up, pump unit worn out.

Is there an erg valve on a honda accord 2008 4 cyl

code p0300 refers to--random/multiple cylinder/s misfire detected...Causes---spark plugs---HT leads---injectors---ignition coils ---low compression ---wiring
code p0302 refers to cylinder 2 misfire detected Causes ---engine mechanical fault---wiring---ignition/fuel system ---ECT/MAF sensors ECM
code po303 refers to cylinder 3 misfire detected Causes Engine mechanical fault---wiring---ignition/ fuel system ---injector---ECT/MAF sensor ECM The common fault to all is the fuel/system ignition
I would have the injectors checked and have a pressure test done on the fuel manifold to check pump and fuel regulator valve.

I have a fault 296 on my golf tdi 2008 can you please tell me a little about the fault please.

296 is not a valid code, I will assume it is a P0296, if that is not the case let me know.
Code P0296 is triggered when the Power Train Control Module (PCM) detects that the acceleration rate of the crankshaft for Cylinder #12 was less than a calibrated amount. During normal conditions the PCM turns the Fuel Injectors ON and OFF in the Fuel Injection System. SymptomsPossible sumptoms of OBD code P0296
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) - Engine Misfire - Engine Run Rough - Low MPG CausesPossible causes of OBD code P0296
- Fuel Injector #12 - Faulty or Corroded Fuel Injector #12 Connector - Plugged #12 Fuel Injector - Dirty #12 Fuel Injector Possible Solutions- Clean Fuel Injector #12 Connector - Clean Fuel Injector #12 - Replaced Fuel Injector

Good Morning. I was advised to change the EGR valve on my 2002 Buick Century and I did so. The car still stalls once I try to accelerate. What do I need to do now? Should I have the exhaust system cleaned?...

you may have a fuel pressure or supply problem(not enough fuel volume or dirty injectors) that can`t meet the fuel requirements needed for acceleration, may be dirty fuel filter, bad fuel pump,or injectors need cleaning, another thing it could be you may need a tune-up,if the plugs are burnt so the gap is to wide and can`t keep up with the load or you may have a plugged air filter, you don`t say why you changed the egr valve other than being advised or if it was a tech.

Multiple cyl misfire

please check on compression of all the cylinders. IF there is any valve damage this could cause a fault. Please check this out if your fuel and spark are ok.

Fuel Gauge not working for 2000 Mercedes Benz S500

you need to replace the fule gauge sending unit inside the fuel tank, as far as the waring messages go u need to have the system tested for a fault code that is stored when these lights come on, the requires a trip to the MB dealer.
