Firstly you check the temperature switch, and than clean the radiator for air pressure & always use coolant in the radiator.

Have very poor heat in my 1992 plymouth acclaim don't know why

That can be caused by a number of things. It could be a bad engine coolant thermostat. It could be low engine coolant due to a leak. It could be a clogged-up heater core. It could be a bad water pump. It could be a blown head gasket....the problem needs to be diagnosed before anyone can tell you exactly WHY you have poor heat. (Although many may try to GUESS and tell you to just start replacing parts without any diagnosis.)

I have a 200 Pontiac Montana and today it overheated into the red! Not sure why! I also don't have heat unless the RPMs are above 200. My fan don't kick on unless the air is on. 2 months ago I...

With the car running because it reduces the back pressure have someone that knows how to do it remove the cap from the radiator and see if the radiator is full, not the bottle but the radiator itself. If the antifreeze is not moving from the bottle to the radiator it will overheat. Not having heat unless you rev the engine makes me think the radiator is either not circulating the water or it is low.

There is a failure in the circuit of the heated oxygen sensor-bank 1 sensor 2. I don't know how to check the fuse since I don't know where it is located.

If you're getting a code for a heated oxygen sensor circuit problem, replace the sensor. I don't think I've ever seen a fuse be the problem. Bank 1 is located at the back of the engine compartment, close to the firewall. Sensor 2 is the sensor after the catalytic converter.

Does a toyota hilux surf 1995 diesel have spark plugs and points as in the days of yore??

Diesel engines don't have spark plugs. They use compression and heat to fire the diesel. Most diesel engines have glow plugs which are designed to preheat the combustion chamber to help burn the diesel fuel when you start it up. Hope this helps.

Chrysler diagnosed an engine light as a faulty egr valve. I need info on how to change the valve on a 2006 Chrysler 300 with a 2.7L engine

If you can find it ,you can remove a couple of bolts & the
heat tube to change it.

I would ask a neighbor to point it out to you

I would bet 50% of the people you know on your
street know what is ,if you don't

Even if you buy one ,you will see the same part on the engine

Simple job,don't need instructions

My 88 Tracer started having problems with all dash lights being on. Then a day or two later over heated lost all antifreeze except small amt in overflow. Let it cool added some to radiator and overflow....

OK, first, I think it may be the alternator. If you charge the battery overnight, the engine should run for about an hour before it discharges again.
I don't think the coolant should affect the wiring.

There may be a fuse panel for the high current fuses in the engine compartment. It should be 30 amp or higher.

Does the generator/alternator/battery light come on when the key is in ON position?

What engine? 1.9L or 1.8L?
VIN Number?

What is the icon's mean on the dash board, when climbing on a hill there's a red light on, but going down it turns off. it looks like there's is over heating or something, please help max'd 07

It depends on what warning light is on!
In any case, from your description and experience, it would be your engine 'Oil' warning light: it comes on when there is not enough lubrication (thus the overheating) flowing because of low oil pressure: immediately check your oil leveland top up as required) and make sure that change your oil and oil filter as soon as possible as it is a very damaging condition and the engine could seize.
Hope it helps: let me know hoe you go.

1997 Subaru Outback impreza engine overheats and no one has figured out why. Radiator is not the problem. Engine does not overheat right away.

Do the cooling fans come on?And do they go off?Or do the fans come on and stay on?If the cooling fans come on,and then the cooling fans ,or fan, goes off, then the system may not be over heating. If the engine is over heating for sure, and the fans come on,but don`t go off, replace the thermostat. Then you need to bleed the cooling system of air.The coolant will not circulate if there is air in the cooling system. Also, the water pump blades on the inside(in the water jacket)could be worn down,or have ome off. This would cause the problem also.If I can help, any further, please let me know.>>roniecon@gmail.com
