The system may have just tripped the light, and you may need to have the code cleared. If that does not work, then you have a component in your ABS system that is faulty, and will need to replace it. Most of the time it is a wheel sensor.

Tiburon ABS and Brake Lights on - No diagnostics code

A few years ago, my Sons Hyundai Sonata had some strange problems with his ABS and brake lights staying on. It turned out , the brake light switch at the bottom of the brake pedal had come loose. I tightened it up and it has been ok ever since. Just a thought but anything is possible these days with all the electronics in cars.

How do you change a warning light on the dash of a citeron picaso

Cluster warning lights

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

Toyota Pasoo ABS light is not turning off. Hi, i have recently bought Toyota Pasoo 2007 (reconditioned japan) and now its ABS light is not turning off even i have checked the break oil level which shows...

The ABS light will not set because of fluid level the red brake light will. Usually an ABS light is set because either the solenoid is faulty, BCM (Body control module) is not functioning properly(not to likely) or there is excessive wear to the brake pads. Solenoid and or BCM can be simply one of the ABS Fuse's. There is one in the engine compartment fuse box and one in the fuse box contained withinor below the dash panel on the drivers side.

Have a 2006 chevy Uplander and check engine light comes on and off, also the ABS light comes on and off. hade both systems checked and everything checked out fine. also the auto start works sometimes and...

I have a 2006 chevy uplander that had an abs light coming on so i took it to my local GM dealer to have it diagnosed and they had told me that the hub and bearing assembly needed to be changed, so i changed it and the light still came on. Upon further investigation i came to discover that the abs wires were frayed in two locations and that the connecters were loose i tightened the connecters and replaced the wires and now my abs light does not come on. I also discovered that i did not need a new hub and bearing assembly after all.

Sounds like the blinkers are blinking but they're not. Traction control and abs lights are on. (spent over $1200 on 3 visits to solve this one) Security light flashes and car won't start for 10 minutes....

BLINKER PROBLEM IS THE MULTI FUNCTION SWITCH FAULTY.WHICH IS THE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH DIMMER SWITCH AND WIPER SWITCH AND ALSO HEAD LIGHT SWITCH.YOU HAVE REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER BEFORE YOU CAN REMOVE THE MULTI FUNCTION SWITCH.TURN OFF RADIO DISCONNECT NEGATIVE BATTERY WAIT 15 MINUTES SO THE AIR BAG IN STEERING WHEEL WILL DISCHARGE. SECURITY LIGHT PROBLEM IS IN THE CAR KEYS WORN WHERE THE BCM AND PCM CANT RECOGNIZE THEM OR THE IGNITION SWITCH AND BCM IS FAULTY.THIS IS A DEALERSHIP FIX THEY HAVE TO REPROGRAM THE KEYS OR IGNITION SWITCH AND THE BCM.ALSO THE ABS AND TRAC LIGHT ON.CHECK ABS FUSE OR RELAY IF BOTH GOOD.DEALERSHIP HAS TO FIX THEY HAVE SPECIAL SCANNER TO CHECK THE ABS AND TRAC SYSTEM. FOR SPEAKERS EITHER THEY HAVE POOR WIRES CONNECTION

BCM Failure, How Droll

Could be an abs wheel speed sensor. bcm is correct. Gauges --- not sure, you need to fix one thing at a time. Scan bcm and repair codes first (traction control/abs sensor) what ever applies.
