The normal temp should run around 200 to maybe 235-240,if its not overheating then don`t worry about it.

Dodge Intrepid Problems

Water temperature at 230 Degrees F is at boiling point in a pressurized system and it is shutting down because the CPU is reading possible damage to the engine . I suggest you find out why the coolant temperature is so high as 212 f is boiling and 220 would be maximium. I suggest that the sensors are controlling the CPU and if so there would be no fault codes recorded . Check the radiator for flow restrictions and check the compression for head problems.

Powerwindows not working, back ones left gos down not up, right gos up not down, i think relay, front l and r does nothing

you need to check the wiring harness on the drivers side front door where it comes from the inside of the car to the inside of the front d/s door....the best way to do this is remove the left kick panel and remove the left door panel.....then unplug the harness inside the kick panel and feed it out to the outside of the car and then to the inside the door panel.....untape and pull back the rubber around the harness and start checking for broken wires and also double check all of them by pulling on them.....these will break over time by opening and closing the door so much and always right in the bend of the door......this is a common problem on these cars....let me and fixya know if i was able to help you and a thumbs up and a comment would be appreciated......if i can help in any other way let me know.....thanks and have a blessed day.......

Glow plug light comes on & gos off Location of Glow Plug Relay

Glowplug relay 180; located in Position 10 in the relay panel. If you unplug the coolant temp sensor, you can trick the computer into thinking it's really cold out, and it will run the glow plugs.

Hey, I have a 1995 corvette. Its says that it is low on coolent and the temp gos up to 220-230 and boils out by the presser of the cap area. The over flow is full. What shoud i do?

with the car or warm (not hot), remove the radiator cap and fill the system. Leave the cap off and start the car. Let it warm up until the thermostat opens and coolant is flowing through the radiator. keep the radiator full while it's warming up. Once it is warm, flowing and full, look for bubbles coming up out of the radiator. If combustion gasses are coming out of the radiator, you have a blown head gasket. If no bubbles, please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5929960-s_thermostat and consider the additional troubleshooting steps given there. These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.
