Question about 1989 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight Royale

I have a 1989 oldsmobile royale 88. it dies usually when you stop. had it hooked up to a computer at checkers and it said it was the mass air flow sensor. ive heard i can buy one at a junk yard, is this my best option or can i order one?

The junk yard is not the best option, but is certainly can work. The best option is a new component, from aftermarket parts store.

Put a crank sensor on it to fix. They get hot and stop working. Next time it stops pour or spray some water on it and try to start it. Old trick to solve problem

Where is the wheel cylander located on a 1989 oldsmobile 88 royale?


Both rear wheels have them. That part expands the brake shoes to stop the car

When car sits over night cold floods & will not start


It's fuel injected! Tell me where you come up with flooding? It won't start on a cold day,other wise okey and runs well,I doubt it?

Vacuum line


look at the intake,where the air flows in. you will see a bunch of lines folow them. if the problem is there you should be able to spot it.
