Error code keeps coming on with only 3800 miles on this truck. Why is this happening and what can I do to stop it?

I would fix the check engine light first. What code is it exactly? If it has to do with the cam position sensor that would most deffinately cause the problem you are describing.

Go back to the mechanic and ask them to check the throttle position sensor and to connect a scanner to car computer, to check if it returns any error code related to this problem.

For how long has this been occurring? Is it ALL the time, only when it rains, only at stop lights? How many miles on your engine? What is the condition of your air filter? Any Check Engine lights on your DIC?

Sounds like one or two of the many sensors may have failed,. Like everyone else said... scan it...good luck.

I think this might be a transmission related shudder, have you ever had the fluid changed? It must be done at least every 60,000 miles.

Check the hose going to the pvc valve,could be leaking.

Until the problem is repaired the codes will come on

I would replace the MASTER CYLINDER. BLEED AIR from master cylinder BEFORE INSTALLATION. Hope this helps

The check light indicates an event has occurred that requires your attention. It could be anything from a bad sensor to a plug misfiring.
