To remove the battery, you need to remove the small panel that is in front of the driver's door. There are 3 screws in the front, by the wheel bay, one on top, and one below in the narrow crevice between that panel and the long narrow panel that goes all the way to the back. After releasing those screws you can remove the panel and gain access to the battery.

You need to remove the lower fender panel. Open the hood with the tires turned to the left. Remove the bolts on the Inner fender that attache to the panel. The two bolts on the top then you need to loosen the lower bolt between the rocker panel and fender panel. DO NOT REMOVE THIS BOLT. The panel will slide out.

Weird instrument clusterl

The clusters in the 1985 Corvette are computer controlled, they are very prone to failure. I recommend you remove the cluster and send it in to be rebuilt. You can also get an exchange cluster for many suppliers of Corvette parts like Zips and others you can find on the internet. The cost was about $300.00 when I had mine done. Click HERE for one such repair center.

Blower fan does not work. 1994 corvette is equipped with automatic temp control. Work for a while when going over a bump. Now it is quiet

The first thing to do here is test the blower motor, it may have worn out brushes. Make up a jumper cable from bulk lamp cord (avail, from any hardware store by the foot) and connect it to the battery and then to the blower, if it doesn't run tap it with a hammer handle, if it starts the brushes are the problem and you need a new blower motor.

I have an 85 corvette. the problem is the air conditioning. I have it on high speed but the air blows out very little like if its on low speed. and the compressor and evaporator is new so what could it be...

If your car has a cabin filter (check owners/service manual) it may be clogged.

You may also have a vacuum leak under the dash causing the vent flaps to not open all the way.

How do you remove the battery from a 1992 corvette

Access is by removal of the exterior side panel. There are two 10mm bolts on top and bottom of the panel, the top needs to be removed, the bottom just loosened. There are 3 Torx screws inside the wheel well, difficult to remove with the tire in place unless you turn the steering to a stop, or use a Torx bit in a wrench. Bolt securing the battery on its base facing the driver seat needs to be removed.

I have a 1993 corvette and I can not find my manual. I'm trying to figure out how to remove the battery. Any suggestions?

Open the hood and locate your battery. The side panel next to the battery comes off. You'll notice one nut on top securing it in place. Look at the bottom of the same panel and you,ll notice two more nuts. Remove the top nut and loosen the two bottoms one and remove the panel.
