Question about Geo Prizm
Yes if it has a bolt going through a slot. if it's got a bolt going sideways next to it then you actually just crack off the locking bolt/nut and wind the bolt to tighten or loosen the belt. but if it is spring loaded then you will have to replace the belt. to do this you have to move the tensioned pulley be putting a socket and breaker-bar on it to move it in the correct direction to get the tension off the belt so you can slip it off and do the same to get it back on. before you take one of these off though make sure to draw your own little diagram or take a photo to make sure you know how it goes back on.
