My 2004 chevy impala power windows no longer work. I replaced the master door panel switch, the fuse on the driver side and they still will not go down, when I press the driver side switch you can hear a buzzing sound, but none of the windows will roll down. Why wont they work?

If the buzzing is sound is coming from the doors, then the motors are going bad. If the buzzing sounds like it's from under the hood, then check the relay switch and see if it went bad and needs to be replaced.

You have a fuse panel on the right side(passenger) of the dash panel (open the door to access it).You also have two fuse blocks located in the engine compartment. One is located on the right side by the coolant reservoir, the other is located next to the window washer reservoir.

All of my power windows quit working in my 2005 chevy impala replaced master switch on drivers door still wont work

3 things to check. First a fuse. Next a wiring issue, broken or short.
Last and most expensive, could be a BCM or Body Control Module.

Try a passenger side door switch or a new complete master switch on drivers door. Alaways check fuses also.

2006 Chevy Impala power windows won't work

It does sound like you have a short in the master switch on the drivers side. If the passengers switch does not work, check the left master switch and the window lock switch.

Driver door panel not working.

Ali, there is a recall for the drivers side door master switch. I believe 04' was included in the recall, regardless this problem affects ALL years of our platform. Water is able to penetrate the switch, say you open your door when it's raining out. Eventually the switch will start to melt out and can be a fire concern. 2 ways you can do this, call the dealer give them your vin # to see if 04 is included in the recall. OR pull one out of a wrecking yard, BUT, have the dealer on the phone when you do to give them the serial # off the master switch. Some of the newer TB's already had the problem fixed.

2005 chevy impala rear driver power window stopped going up.stuck

If neither switch works it is a bad connection at the motor or bad ground or a bad motor. Remove the door panel unplug the motor push the switch and see if there is 12volts on the wires if there is the motor is bad There are small brushes in the motor that go bad tap on the motor while pushing the switch if it works that way replace it
