When you hook up the battery, either use the pad to unlock doors, or use the key to unlock door, regardless if the door is unlocked or not. Had this problem numorous times, always worked. good luck!

Hello, sounds like you need a new battery. As the battery goes flat the alarm senses it and sets off the warning system. Try changing the battery first and test it during the day. Also check to see if there is anything draining the power. You may also be able to adjust the alarm settings manually. Failing that, the alarm may need replacing. I hope I have helped.
most likely if you have to jump it then your battery is not good or your baterry connections arent good or ground from battery to chassis isnt good or combination of either... Good Luck
try removing the battery + for at least 2 minutes. it should reset the alarm system. if it doesnt work you need to make your remote work try replacing the batteries and try it
