Question about 1992 Volvo 940
There is a manual way to close it. between the rearview mirror and the sunroof there is a plastic box remove the two screws holding this on and remove. then with a flat tip screwdriver depress the white plastic clutchpinin the center of the motor screw.(this should be towards the rear of the area).turn this white plastic pin to open or close your sun roof. i hope this helps.

First check your fuse box, for any fuse blow, position 26 in the Passenger Fuse Box (Box C), then keep in mind that the power sunroof is controlled by a switch that selects the
direction of travel of the sunroof. The switch changes the polarity of
the voltage going to the sunroof motor. This changes the rotation of the
motor, thereby changing the direction of sunroof travel.
