Hi
We have recently purchased a Toyota Celica, 1980 we think and need to fix her up. She needs alot of TLC. Do you have a free service manual?
Thanks
Daniel

moister in dizzy cap and sounds like it has a hair line crack try cranking it over in the dark when engine is warm you will see spark leaving the cap if its cracked when its warm the spark escapes alot easier and wont start.
a long long time ago a voltage regulator was attached to the inside fender well. since about 1980 however they are built into the alternator. so you are going to have to swap in a new or rebuilt alternator.
Are you saying you only had front brakes with the back brakes removed? The hand brakes would have been null. How could it pass inspections ?
A quick trip to the library will help. Ask for the auto service manual. You can also check eBay for a Service Manual.
Go to the auto parts store and purchase a Haynes or Chiltons repair Manuel. They are around $25.They have wiring diagrams and pictures with step by step instructions. They cover just about every thing on your car.
