Have you checked all of the fuses for power ?
The headlights have fuses in addition to the main headlight fuse.
Same thing with the washer pump.

What type of fuse is used for a 2007 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer rear windshield wipers and where is it placed?

Your owners manual will give you fuse location and identification for the rear wiper. Most likely a wiper motor problem though. Turn on rear wiper and grab rear wiper arm and see if it will move at all. If it does move a bit or starts working....the motor is the problem

this is pretty typicalof rear wipers check fuse first to make sure it is good if that doesnt work it is probably the motor which goes out and you can pick one up at your local auto parts store hope this will help you and have a great day

Rear window washer on 97 Ford Explorer stopped working .. Front wipers and front washer share fuse with rear washer and since no problem with other components, the problem has to lie in the switch or relay...

Where is fuse for 97 ford explorer windshield wipers

Here is a link to your owner's manual from Ford.
The fuse diagrams begin on page 146. There are 4 affecting wipers
Fuse 12 = Front & Rear washer and wiper
Fuse 16 = Wiper run relay
Relay #1 - Wiper run relay
Relay #3 Hi/Lo Wiper relay

there is a recall on them i had the same issue it is caused by the wires being crushed when the trunk colses(im an ex ford mechanic, and ex owner of a focus)

possible, check all the fuses, also the wiring going into the rear hatch, ive repaired a couple, the wiring breaks causing the defogger and wiper and release to stop working the wiring runs next to the latch,but start with the fuses first.good luck.

What fuse number for the rear wiper

The fuse for the rear wiper should be in fuse location 8 and it is a 15A fuse. It is located in the power distribution box under the hood on the drivers side.
