I'm guessing that you have the 6 cyl 2.5 liter engine because the 2.4 liter engine that the Cirrus had for that year I believe had a coil pack. The picture below is for the 2.5. If you need the other just write a reply and I will be notified in my email and I will post it if needed. I hope this helps you and good luck.

On the rear face of the right cylinder head. Cam sensor is built into it too. Just follow a plug wire.

No spark from distibuter

Is your cam built in the distributor? The 96 is. If not, try that. If so, you probably need to test your wires. What all have you tried so far? Are you getting any codes? What size engine?

Car will not start. Replaced plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor. Still has no spark.

Check your ignition module. Are you getting power to the distributor?

Chrysler cirrus 2.5 v 6 no fire

I've heard it's an issue with the distributor. Moisture, washing your engine gets through the vents in the distributor causing no spark. The ignition coil/module is built into the distributor housing. This means the distributor would have to be replaced. People also have tried using WD-40, I don't recommend, due to it only being a temporary fix and the petroleum in the WD allows build up to occur. BAD distributor design!!!!
