the fan on a car is not ment to come on till the motor gets to a set temprature so as the motor is getting cooler it turns off then when it gets to the point where itsd hitting the hotter temp it cuts in to cool the motor back down hope this helps if your motor is not over heating thats all it is if the car is overheating then the thermostat may need replacing its like a electric oven it keeps one tempriture
get the correct brake pads. ive come across this quite a few times. especially with aftermarket pads. i have got away with in the past by machining a few mm off each pad. and im asuming that you have pushed the pistons in the callipers right back flush. but be careful not to tear the rubber seals. hope this helps.
