WHAT COLOR WIRES MELT TO ALTERNATOR ONE WHITE WIRE BATTERY FEED FUSE LINK WIRE OR THE WHITE AND BLUE WIRE TO VOLTAGE REGULATOR TO COMBINATION METER. WHEN YOU REPLACE ELECTRICAL WIRES BESURE TO PUT FLEXIBLE CONDUIT AROUND WIRES TO KEEP ENGINE HEAT AWAY FROM WIRES AND CONDUIT WILL KEEP WIRES FROM RUBBING CAUSING SHORT TO GROUND.

I need the wiring diagram for installing a trailer plug for my 1998 chevy silverado

sammy tatz,

There usually is not a diagram for this type of wiring, as it's wired directly into the current wires. You simply need to follow the wires on the truck (if doing the plug here) and run the wiring to these as needed per light.

If you are wiring the trailor - the new wiring harness should be color coded as well as labeled (if new) for each light. Trace the wires (if attached still) and attach each wire as necessary to it's appropriate light.

I have never personally heard of wiring diagrams for this, at least not for aftermarket wiring. Any other diagrams for wiring can be found in a service manual for your truck.

Please let me know if you need further assistance with this matter.

I got code P1135 in 01 toy 4runner. I have replaced the o2 bank 1 sensor (A/F sensor) and also the map sensor. On my scanner I read a 3.298 volts at all times! I even unplugged the sensor and it still...

P1135=Air-Fuel Sensor Heater Circuit Response Malfunction,
This code does not identify a particular o2 sensor,
did you get a code that showed a fault leading to the one you replaced?
Have you checked the voltage in the other o2 sensors to compare.

Wiring 4 flood lights on a 97 wrangler

you will need:
wire
inline fuse 5 or 10 amp
toggle switch.

you will need to run the lights where you desire. you will need to take one wire this will be the ground. you will need to find a ground for the wire close to the last light you will be connecting.

once you have found the ground connect the wire to it. usually to the frame of the vehicle. than take the remainder of the wire and connect the ground on each light. You can do this by taking the wire and running straight across the lights. you will need to bear a small part of the wire so you can wrap the wire that is coming out of the light to the ground.

once you have completed that you will need to connect the ground wire to the toggle switch.

now you are ready to run the hot. take the second wire and put the end of it on the last light farthest from the switch. and connect the wire from the light to the hot wire. than string it across the other lights. you will need to bear a small opening in the wire at each light like you have done for the ground. you will need to connect the lights together on the hot wire.

now once this has been done. take the end of the wire and find your fuse box. find your light fuse. take the fuse out of the socket. you will need to bear the hot wire and wrap it around one of the slats on the fuse. than take the remainder of the wire and connect it to your toggle switch.

you should be good to go when this has been completed.
